United in Pink: A Heartfelt Tribute at Eva Gordon Upper Elementary's Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

πŸŽ€πŸŒŸ On October 25th, Eva Gordon Upper Elementary proudly hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, honoring the strength and courage of those affected by this disease. Our event was inspired by two incredible breast cancer warriors from SPSD, Mrs. Maria Felder and Ms. Brandi Evans, who led us with their bravery.

Students and staff showed their support by wearing pink, a symbol of hope and solidarity, as we paid tribute to all who have fought, are fighting, or have sadly lost their battle against breast cancer. A special shoutout to Ms. Ashley Barnes’ gifted class for their creative spirit! They crafted beautifully decorated pumpkins to present to our honored guests.

We also recognized other amazing warriors, including Coach Janice Felder and Ms. Lana Sandifer. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful day. Together, we stand strong! πŸ’–

SOARING TO EXCELLENCE!
