We at the South Pike School District want to take a moment to express our gratitude to Dr. Angela Lowery, our superintendent, for her unwavering commitment to South Pike School District. Dr. Lowery has served the district since 2006, first as a teacher, then as principal of Osyka Elementary, and now as superintendent. Under her leadership, the district has significantly improved its state accountability rating, moving from a D rating to a B. We are grateful for her hard work and dedication to student achievement. As John Quincy Adams once famously said, "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader."
